About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Beztec uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Service.
In the UK, the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed principally by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), alongside the UK GDPR. Where this policy refers to "cookies", it also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and web beacons.
2. How we use cookies today
At the time of writing, the Beztec website does not set any cookies or similar tracking technologies when you browse. There is no analytics tracking, no advertising pixel, and no embedded third-party content on our site.
We've published this policy in full because we intend to keep it current — if and when we introduce cookies (for example, to measure which pages are most useful, or to embed a video), this page will already explain how we do so and how you can control it. We will always ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary, in line with PECR.
Our commitment. We will never set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies without first obtaining your consent. Strictly necessary cookies — those required for the site to function securely — do not require consent under PECR, but we will always describe them clearly on this page.
3. Categories of cookies
Cookie policies are usually structured around four categories. The table below explains each one and whether your consent is required under UK law.

We do not currently set cookies in any of the last three categories. If that changes, this page will be updated and — for analytics, functional and marketing cookies — we will ask for your consent first.
4. Cookies currently in use
As stated above, the Beztec website currently sets no cookies. This includes our contact form, which we've deliberately built without session cookies or CSRF tokens that would require them.
Where we host a client platform (such as a Dash SaaS instance), that platform may set its own strictly necessary session cookies to keep you logged in. Those cookies are covered by the platform's own login and security framework, and are used only for authentication and session management — they are never shared with third parties for advertising or analytics.
5. Managing your preferences
You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers let you:
- See what cookies are stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or entirely
- Set your browser to notify you before accepting a cookie

Please note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function — for example, you may not be able to log in to a platform. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from browsing our website.
Withdrawing consent. Where you have previously consented to a cookie, you can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting the cookie from your browser, or by adjusting your browser settings to block it in future.
6. Third-party cookies
Some websites embed content from third parties — for example, videos from YouTube, maps from Google, or analytics from providers like Plausible or Google Analytics. When you interact with that content, the third party may set its own cookies on your device.
Our website does not currently embed any third-party content that sets cookies. If we add such content in the future, we will update this policy to list the providers involved, describe the purpose of their cookies, and — where consent is required — obtain it before the content is loaded.
7. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal, which indicates your preference not to be tracked across websites. Because our website does not currently track visitors across sites, there is nothing for these signals to suppress — but when we introduce any analytics, we will respect DNT and GPC signals as a default.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we introduce new cookies, change our providers, or if the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
Where a change is significant — such as the introduction of analytics or advertising cookies where none existed before — we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and, where required, to obtain your consent before those cookies are set.
